The ugly incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday in Oraifite, Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.

"This happened on Tuesday this week. A husband and wife were fighting over 30k. It all happened that this lady here by name Chinenye from oraifite in Anambra state. She has a small scale business of her own at umunede oba. She went home after closing of business that very day and her husband started asking her to give him money and she refused. They fought over it and later in the evening when the lady was sleeping the man attack her with a motar stick and she die. May her soul rest in peace."
