The English name of the vegetable is watercress. Please what is it local name in any of our nigerian dialect? Also if you can find it or already know how I can get it please post on this thread.
It is the most nutritious vegetable in the world. Indeed it is considered to be a weed here and it is not uncommon to see watercress being cleared from where they have grown wildly. Unlike other parts of the world water cress is not cultivated on a
commercial scale here and the little that is found in very few markets are wild ones that individuals have harvested and brought from around their homes. Elsewhere it is commercially cultivated and consumed for its life giving and healing properties.

Water leaf is different, it's know as Talinum triangulare. While water cress is called nasturtium officinale.
They are different vegetables.

I know it. It is called lansir in Hausa.
