An explosion has just occurred following an accident between a fuel tanker and a trailer at Maje along Minna-Suleja road I'm Niger state.The number of casualties are yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report. Emergency officials are currently on ground to put out the flames. Motorists and commuters have been advised to delay their movements or use alternative routes due to the accident.

The accident is coming less than a day after nine people were killed and over 50 vehicles destroyed when a fuel-laden tanker exploded on the Otedola Bridge along the highway in Lagos state.

The tanker which was loaded with PMS, had a brake failure while trying to overtake a vehicle before crashing and exploding in the process.
