You guys should wait a minute, GARI pass gari o. their are different type of GARI eg
1. GARI IJEBU
2. gari ibo

forinstance gari ibo is always with sands and it does always fit to drink but good for making EBA,
whereas GARI ijebu is the best of all because you can flowently drink it without any stress or using some things to take it, infact if you are able to get the KONK once, OH my God, you think you are in THE PARADISE.

to really enjoy it you will need all this ingredent
1. sugar
2. Epa (groundnut)
3. Milk
4. Akara, moimoi, kulikunli, Palamu(smoke fish)
5. very cold water, if posible with cube ice blocks

with all this this HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM you are on top of the world.
never mind me am from IJEBU land so i know all it takes for you to enjoy your GARI.

I dont think so oo. i think it is because of the mode of Preperation, Its unlike the Ijebu way of processing the GARI

taking it with iced cooled water, you'll love it

If the Ijebu garri has maggots,adding cold water could make them come alive,you don;t want that!!

garri Igbo get sand plus big big hard clumps wey fit fracture teeth.
garri Ijebu sweet well but may come alive,lol

I no fit try garri naija delta,it may have crude oil and live bullets,i no fit.lol.

the maggots come out of it when the grated garri is left like 3-4days to make it sour before drying and frying, that's how we got Sour garri.

some garri has sand in it because atime, after peeling the cassava (mass produced) the cassava is not washed properly before grating, like when they peel and put them on the sandy ground or over filled basin cassava fall out on the sandy ground. sometimes no enough water so no washing at all, just grate like that, Saw such many times
also atimes after frying the garri, it is poured in a flat bag that is laid on the ground for it to cool before bagging. And you know we got wind there, so it blows sand into the garri.
