Nigerians To Produce The Most Expensive Flag In The World By October 2010 by samadex3: 5:42pm On Jun 09, 2010
Dear Members and Friends:

We have been waiting a long time of a messiah that will change and transform the situation of Nigeria from this uncomfortable state. We looked from one mind to the other, a larger percentage of the leaders are not honest to us, the citizens. We are writing this to ask for your support and participation in an important grassroots peace initiative being conducted by SNIF(Saved Nigerian Future), a civil society group of individuals from Nigeria throughout the world.

In 1981, the United Nations General Assembly established the International Day of Peace
(IDP). It was in 2001 that the UN modified the resolution and fixed September 21st as the
annual date of the IDP. The intention of the new resolution is to have the entire world
observe a full day of "global ceasefire and nonviolence.” The potential impact is
enormous as individuals, communities and countries in conflict lay down their arms and
share a full day of peace. This is the vision behind the United Nations’ resolution for an
International Day of Peace. Building peace one day at a time.

On 1st October 1960, Nigeria obtained her freedom to become an Independent Nation. The Known Flag of Nigeria which was hoisted on that day was designed and meant to serve a purpose. The flag symbolizes Unity, Peace and Agricultural improtance(a symbol of our wealth). As one way of observing the Independence day, we ought to celebrate its relevance to our achievement. But because of the tattered image that is presented before us by our leaders, we can only celebrate what we have.

But, we say that we can change this with our own hands as a nation as a United Nigeria on 1st of October, 2010.  On this day, we have proposed to present as a Nation a Flag of Nigeria, a contribution of all efforts of the entire citizen, or majority. A welcome support of the Government will be welcome but it should really be the citizens’ party of support. A place to start, a better way of beginning the journey the right way.

We want support from many peace based NGOs and individuals representing a wide variety of religious and spiritual traditions that are advocating a "Nigeria of Progress, Peace and Growth”.

We propose this flag flies on the Golden jubilee at Eagle Square in Abuja on 1st of October 2010 and that’s the reason we tagged the Flag “Jubilee Flag”. The features of this flag are outstanding, but we see no reason why a flag that will be made by the support of Nigerians will not be the most expensive flag in the world. We had to search for what the most expensive flag in the world is on the Guinness World Record and, behold ‘NONE’ was recognized. The flag that was recognized was only known by proxy, the British Flag.

We have seen this as a wonderful opportunity to drag the Name of this great country to the Guinness World Record, at least if a single Nigerian can singly drag the Nigerian image to the blacklist of America via terrorism, we can change our fortune.

"To encourage worldwide, 24-hour support for Unity, nonviolence and global love for Nigerians established on the Independence Day , our Golden Jubilee Day, 1st October, 2010 in every home of Nigerian and place of spiritual practice, by all religious and spiritually based groups and individuals and by all men, women and children who seek Unity in the world."

These global 24-hour support for Unity observations for peace are meant to demonstrate the power Unity of prayer and other sincere observations in promoting peace and preventing violent conflict. They will also help raise public awareness of the Golden Jubilee Day and can directly support the establishment of Saved Nigerian Future.

You can personally support this worldwide initiative by committing to voluntarily support in organizing the events surrounding the conduct and campaign towards raising Nigerians to join  and promulgating the Vigil idea among religious and peace-based groups in your community and the tour of the Jubilee flag. Please register your commitment to participate in the voluntary
Support for SNIF website at: www.snif-ng.org, or email: info@snif-ng.org.
Indicate the name of the individual or group participating, a contact person and the number of people participating in the events. All commitments will be posted on the website.
Your participation in this worthwhile effort is most appreciated by certifying you with a Certificate of Participation. Please assist by passing this on to other individuals and groups that might be interested in participating in physical observations.

Let us present to Nigeria the most expensive Flag in the World as her Golden Jubilee Gift and together, we can move this nation forward. Are you afraid? No, you should not be. This is Nigeria, our Country.

For Supports and inquiries, please, email us at info@snif-ng.org.

Sincerely,
