Can 200,000 Be Enough To Open A Boutique? by baba4dgirls: 10:05am On Jul 10, 2018
Hi, please I need a little help here. I've got about 200,000 saved up and intend to use it to open up a boutique (men clothing) and if possible some shoes.
This amount doesn't include rent, I can look for that.

I just want to know, if the amount will be sufficient to start the business idea.
I will also appreciate suggestions on where best to buy these items in lagos.

Gracias.

Is it a major town? Because targeted clients would determine if the male clothing would be business or men's casual wears.

You find out cost of renting a shop first in a strategic location depending on the answer above, and of course you'll need some shelves and proper lightning of the shop. A small generator would do to illuminate the shop when a customer comes in depending on the nature of the environment.
