I hope that have started to abandon ships on the our beaches like those abandoned on the Marina waters in Lagos island.

The appropriate authorities should find the owners of the Ship and enforce them to clear the shores of the abandoned vessel.

Probably filled with toxic chemicals that have been dumped. They need to find the country that sent this rubbish to our shores. Please approach that ship carefully. Let the authorities handle it.
Very observant, i think you may be right. they probarbly hae have dumped their toxic waste Already in the waters.

Just like the one of koko port in 1988 where an Italian ship came to drop toxic chemicals on our land, which led to the creation of federal environmental protection agency ( FEPA)

Nigerian's should be very careful that ship may come in with chemical toxic waste to dispose it here and our government don't care

Our government already knows. He should not disturb himself.

That ship has been there for more than two weeks now. Do you think those working on the beach don’t know about it already?
If the poster is so concerned he should have gone to the Elegushi authorities first to ask relevant questions before coming online to feed us with zoomed pictures.

That's exactly what I'm thinking.....with all the noise about brand new naval ships ...this should never be. Hope in years to come the people in this area wouldn't be suffering from cancer or whatever.

At times.....due to certain reasons....the captain & crew of ship get disorientated & loose track of thier current location.....might take a few days of communication & assistance from locals before they get back on track.......av seen lost ships off the coast of brass..... regular sight..... @ times it will require naval tugboat to pull the ship back to deep waters..........*just saying*
daz all. That ship is stuck in the beach sand and shallow waters. They are waiting for a big tugboat

Is the ship in your house?
A mysterious ship shows up and that is not enough reason for any reasonable human being to be nervous ,we need to be security concious that ship can stay there for months and believe me our authorities wont go check whats up until the unbelievable happens .OP nice one if we have more people like you around alot of disasters would have been avoided
