BREAKING: NBC Shuts Down Ekiti Broadcast Service



The National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) has ordered the immediate closure of the Ekiti Broadcast Service (EBS) for breaching provisions of the Broadcasting Code.

According to the NBC, the Ekiti Broadcast Service breached the Electoral Act and Broadcasting Code by allowing the governor of the state, Ayodele Fayose to announce results in favour of his deputy and candidate of the PDP, Kolapo Olusola, and declare him the winner of the governorship election in the state.
