The only reason this mumuric idiat us advocating for ranches is because the killer herdsmen are Muslims. If it were a christian group, he would have written an epistle to discourage the government from stepping in. There Is God sha.

In your shallow and myopic estimation, the killings started with Buhari's ascension in 2015 while none of such was widely reported and documented during the administrations of your christian brothers?. I am amused by the brand of weed you smoke.

Do we have to be vulgar in expressing our opinion if indeed we have cast iron facts to buttress our claims?

RuthlessLeader:

Do you mean private ranching where the cattle owners also pay tax? I hope you also know that it wasn't the government but a private firm that set up the ranch? Not like our own where FG just want to dash them free land
Going by FG's National Livestock Investment Plan, it presupposes FG's aim at building conducive infrastructures across the states that will be readily available for private ownership. In the end, it all comes back to the State Governments being the regulator of the business in their respective states.

Nope is not the problem. Dam for farmers, grazing reserves for herdsmen. It's not a rocket science.

Although, MURIC most time give out unnecessary information just like CAN but what they highlighted up there is a promising solution to this menace provided the citizens can accept that , but will they? Hell No.

There are different categories of people benefiting from this killing either directly or indirectly and they will expend their last breath to make sure that they frustrate Nigeria and make it inhabitable.

1) The Herdsmen themselves are gaining from this menace, they will not necessarily buy the idea of ranching unless the government can enforce it with full force. These people lived all their life practicing open grazing, it’ll be really hard to confine them to some sort of ranches

2) The enemy of Nigeria who has sworn to hate Nigeria and other tribe due to the wrong of the past committed by the greedy elders on both side of the divide. That kind of hate is what the black Americans had for the whites because it’s really hard to be seeing someone that does some injustice to your fathers and still not feel some resentment. It’s a type of psychological hatred that will remain until they can anticipate themselves and learn to forgive wholeheartedly.

3) The cattle rustlers themselves. We can always try to neglect them by saying the Herdsmen kill them first but they truly exist and it’s not that easy to see your investment being destroyed and not react

4) The opportunist politicians that will use this menace to curry favor from the citizens by saying they can solve this menace if they were to be in government and In turn heat up the polity to favor their aspirations

5) The propagandist that always say this is a form of Islamization , these people are devoid of reasoning because herdsmen have been grazing even since the days of my forefathers but yet Nigeria hasn’t been islamized and I don’t really know what exactly they mean by Islamization.

The only people losing from this unfortunate killings are the people of the Middle belt and I feel so sad that they find their self in this type of environment , people, government and country.

Nice writeup.. I adore people who gives solution to probelms than people compounding it the more. Seems you and python2 are one of a kind on NL..

Will there be piggery ranch, poultry reserves, farm settlements, spare part village, okirika bend down select free market, Distilling and Brewery industrial estate etc in every part of Nigeria set up by public fund too? If not then mumuric and buhari are on a long thing. Go to Oyo, Ogun, Ondo, Osun etc and see farmers doing there business without waiting for hands out from the FG. Benue is the food basket of the nation but we're yet to see them asking for farm settlements all over the country. The dams built all over the north/free fertilizers, seedlings, insecticides etc for northern farmers by our collective wealth is enough, the monkey dey work baboon dey chop status quo is over. Private poultry farmers in the west are running their businesses without govt interference or suppport, funny enough this guys incure more operational cost and pay more tax compare to the herders who sells their vows for as high as 300k without paying tax nor incuring any operational cost. The north can't continue to bring all of Nigeria to her knees. If they want cattle ranch their governors should make provisions for that same way SW governors are making farm lands available for the local farmers at cheap prices.

Did you just imply that Igbos are the enemies of Nigeria? undecided

If Nigeria was not a zoo, shouldn't reconciliation have been organised by the Nigerian govt the way it was done in Rwanda?

Nigeria needs to atone in one way or the other, and that's what is done in civilised country.
it does not have to br reparations

Reconciliation

Your 1000% right, am living in ghana and no such ranch for any body, infact Ghana import meat from Europ and south America they don't eat fulanis cow. Ghana eat chicken and fish more than meat. this people can lie.

they should advice Nigerian to emulate Ghana electricity system, security system, education system and democracy, not ranching. it pains when the youth don't have vision. what do we gain as a Nigerian from Fulani's business

You are seriously mad but have no one to tell you. So lands from SS n SE should be utilized to settle a private business because they are Fulanis? How many lands has the government taken from the north to compensate those that lost their farm land through oil spillage in the SS? God will punish every wicked person in this country for contributing to how misfortune. God, you have a dark and wicked mind.
