It is expected of every leader to be intentional in their manners and ways because if you want to experience significant progress toward your goal, you need to be intentional about the work you are doing every day.

Intentional living has been said to be the art of making our own choices before others' choices make us.

The art of being procreative instead of being reactive in the face of challenges and decisions.

Being procreative gives you control and reactive puts you under the control of the one who is several steps ahead of you.

Being intentional is a key requirement of good leadership.

For President Muhammadu Buhari, the trip to the Netherlands could not have come at a better time. It would afford him the opportunity to demonstrate intentional leadership about the current situation of the country, its security, socio-economic state and human rights records.

You can't help but like the vibes coming from Buhari right now. He has a penchant for doing the right thing and handing out excellent results. The ICC trip is a great way to be intentional in his leadership, it was great. Good job, Buhari

Sycophancy is an incurable disease!!

Let me tell u y Buhari visited ICC:
First is that he was invited and never visited on his own.

Lately African leaders or nations are becoming hostile to the ICC. This because of d sit tight mentality of African leaders.
U can imagine Biya contesting again at 85 after ruling since 1981.

So with all that happened with Arab uprising. African leaders know that same may ably to them and there will human rights abuse when ousting them. So B4 hand they wanna secede from d court.

Again is d issue with African leaders not wanting to arrest Omar Sudan leader wen he visited S/Africa n nigeria.
As requested by ICC. So Nigeria being a big player in Africa, visiting and committing to the court will affirm n encourage others allegiance to d court.

Lastly nigeria has been under examination by d ICC since 2012. And if conditions of human rights abuse degenerate ( which they are already) we'll come under investigation. So it's also necessary to hear from him directly . What he's doing to abate the increasing waste of lives in Nigeria.
It's a subtle one, so he has to thread carefully.
Even while there he was talking about anti corruption. Something outside the jurisdiction ( genocide, ethnic cleansing, agression, war crimes) of ICC, but rather covered by ICJ.

Even that is not necessary, becos icj can only come in to help when u don't have enough, judicial or legal structures to combat corruption. Which Nigeria does. Ok
