Do you know that biafra got from more nations more than Nigeria? You can argue that too.

If Biafra got more help than Nigeria, They would win the war.

This is political propaganda that has been employed for years to deceive the gullible minds since the 80s in Nigeria.

There's no doubt that people will always develop new technologies and great strategies in times of war and uncertainty because they are forced to do so.

Nonetheless, majority of the technologies and weaponry used in the Nigerian civil war was imported by both sides because it happened several years after the second world war; when the world had a significantly different outlook

if anyone developed significant amount of the technology used in the Nigerian civil war, then nothing is stopping them from developing new ones now.

Naamah was the last surviving child of Cain and she was black, like her father Cain.

The curse of Noah may be a rejection of the incestuous child that Ham had conceived with Naamah who apparently was black.

It is believed by some that Ham deliberately slept with Naamah so as to increase the inheritance he will get from his father amongst him and his brothers, by cunningly trying to have Noah grant equal inheritance to his bastard son by sleeping with Naamah.

Did Naamah with the blood of Cain and Lucifer flowing in her veins, seduce Ham so as she will be of child deceitfully so that Noah will grant her child inheritance?

This is why I believe Noah did not curse Ham but the bastard child Caanan.

And you are not ashamed that Nigeria troops comprises of North, Middle Belt, West, Egyptian air force, British military, USSR and others, for three years find it difficult to conquer East, this was a war Nigeria government boasted that they will run over east within three weeks It took them three years, they had to use food blockade to force them to surrender. And you what me not to be proud of our Biafra heroes. And same region they fought destroyed their land and properties are now the least in poverty in Nigeria, leading in commerce, industrious, innovative, and education and those areas that didn't experience war are today dying in penury and backwardness.

I'm not ashamed that Nigerian troops who boasts of having the highest peace keeping operations in Africa is getting help from allies after all one good turn deserves another, you to too ignorant to have an idea of International diplomacy and politics, why am I not surprised since u are a brick layer anyway, it doesn't matter how long it took contrary to expectation since they came out victorious anyway.

All is fair in love and war so a food blockade is standard practice in war all over the world, and in saner climes like Japan for example your supposed heroes would honorably commit suicide than be losers who are now your supposed heroes, nothing surprises me anymore after the heroic welcome of the cross dressing fugitive general.

Its good news to hear that the region is now the least in poverty and leading in every imaginable field of life but when I checked the statistics and indices of the region on ground it looked just a tad better better than South Sudan, charity they say begins at home or is it the other way round in the region?

Go and read Scientific and technological innovations in Biafra : ( The "Ogbunigwe" Fame 1967-1970)
Firstly, you don't know me and I don't know u, but because I have a dissenting view to yours, you call me a "rat"(lol), I could be old enough to be your father or uncle, the same way you could be old enuff to be DAT to me. But your lack of courtesy has led you, like every other patsy on NAIRALAND to address a fellow you don't know as such( see your life?)
Secondly, you referred me to a book. Hehehe! Have you read the book? Sincerely? Did you buy the book or you borrowed it?
Again, I maintain that Biafra invented NADA!
Please read up on the profile of the nuclear physicist author of your book, and how he held several key scientific research agencies in Nigeria over the years, and STILL Nigeria still imports almost all of her munitions from abroad.
Oh yeah, you are gonna tell me, he only wants to keep it for biafrans, yeah right! Even innoson cannot but include/involve the Chinese in the good work he is doing. Keep fooling yourself, the European and south African mercenaries (whites) had a great influence on biafran weaponry at that point. While it will be unfair to assume the nuclear physicist didn't contribute anything to the cause then, I think it is far fetched to say, he and other biafrans single handedly invented ogbunigwe. But then, we choose to believe whatever we want....

When God created mankind, he gave each race a hammer.

The White man used his hammer to fashion out a civilization

The Asian, studied the hammer and before long he churned out a thousand hammers

The Nigger, used his hammer to kill another nigger.

The Jew, paid the Asian to make more hammers which he sold to the Nigger to kill more Niggers.

There is a direct correlation between empathy and IQ. The higher the IQ the more empathy an individual displays.

The reason why Africa is backward is because the African is the least of all human races on earth. An African so-called big man has no iota of shame to see his people live as animals - this is borne out of his wicked and dark heart.

The God in heaven knows the African as the descendant of the Snake and Eve. Their patriarchy began with Cain and was continued by Ham who slept with Cain's daughter Naamah who Noah had married to keep away from his sons.

The God in heaven has hidden all knowledge from the savage brute for the nigger would have since destroyed the world.

Take Buhari for example, that man is as close to the roots of hell than any body that ever walked the earth.

The fact that Buhari hasn't gotten to the level of Stalin or Hitler is because the God in Heaven has made him stupid so that Buhari will not have the means or whereabouts to accomplish his evil heart's desire.

Just imagine a Nigger nation with Nukes... The Nigger has turned a rifle in the form of an AK47 to a weapon of mass destruction. The nigger has never fought a war without raping, pillaging and killing indiscriminately.

God works in mysterious ways and I pray and thank HIM that he made the seed of Shaitan and the woman in the garden to be stupid.

There is no God in no heaven

God is in the flesh and he/she is the black man/woman

This is my exact opinion. The day I visited the war museum in the east is the day I felt the wrong people controlled the affairs of Nigeria. Even now, they still try to recreate things and sell locally. In ABA, they remake clothing, shoes, etc without even the formal education. Ibos even have that mechanic turned manufacturer. For someone to use the limited knowledge they learn in mechanics to start manufacturing cars without the full formal engineering education, it shows if Ibos were who held the affairs of this country, it would have been farther than where we are at now. While they can boast of building weapons and remodifying broken military weapons while at war, all we can boast of now is how many outdated weaponry and military arms Nigeria can purchase. Recently while they can boast of making materials out of nothing, all our technology minister can boast of is making pencils. cry I've realized that the reason Nigeria is such a mess is because the wrong tribes took control. If Hausa, fulani and yoruba didn't control the affairs of Nigeria, we would have been farther than where we at now.

Shouldn't your eastern governors set aside money to develop prototypes from the knowledge of what you have already developed lying in your war museums?

After developing prototypes, I am sure they wouldn't be short of sponsors worldwide wanting to invest in these very unique technologies, don't you think?

You keep running around in circles confusing yourself.
The Igbo have never argued that all the fought with during the war they manufactured. They have never denied external help. It's obvious there were some level of assistance from France before the blockade but what you can't deny is that they out of necessity produce locally to supplement the little coming from outside.

It's unfortunate you have never been to the Museum or Ojukwu Bunker in umuahia and have no desire to. That's the problem with most Nigerians. They think the world start and end with the little coccon they build around themselves. Go to Umuahia and see for yourself the great innovations of Biafra.

Seek knowledge that will dispel your ignorance, it may be expensive but it's worth it.
Ad a matter of fact sir, the igbos have almost always denied the existence of foreign help. Did you listen to ojukwu's speech before he ran away? The speech on how Igbo has overcome the technology barrier? You have always denied it or chosen to relegate it to the background, thank God for people like us who will always rise to expose falsehood, no matter what.
**and yes, I agree with you on the necessity being a mother of "invention" part. But then again, you didn't invent nada

Mercenaries are quite normal in wars. Even the United States of America employ Mercenaries to assist them in War.

Fact is that Igbos on their own created a lot of thibgs to assist themselves during the war because most things were in short supply and after the blockade, Things got even tighter for them.

Igbos are still building a lot of thingson their own today come to camp in enugu, go to Obosi in Anambra and visit Aba, u will witness the ingenuity of the igbos first hand.

Of course mercenaries for hire is standard practice in war so I don't get why some ignorant dolts on this forum keep saying there was no external help on the Biafra side, even the Almighty US military acknowledged Blackwater mercenaries in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Fact is Igbo's created a lot of things during the war not out of foresight but the need to stay alive as they say necessity is the mother of inventions and its not peculiar to the Nigerian civil war,Duct tape and Microwave oven were invented by Americans during the WW2 and even the internet we now all enjoy was invented by an American during the Soviet-US cold war and this are real inventions and not just weapon fabrication by Biafrans.

Igbos are still building things on their own today so as Yoruba's,Hausa's,hutus,Zulus,Hindus,Asians, are also building theirs so its not peculiar to any tribe neither do I have to visit one yeye camp somewhere to see anything if they have actually produced anything breathtaking and worth its salt as I believe u didn't have to visit Palo alto before u started using Facebook that mark created, the world is now a global village and if their ingenuity produced anything worth its salt the whole world would be informed.

Your post doesn't really make sense, from your post he never claim to assist Biafra to manufacture weapons.

The Engineering Feat of Defunct Biafran Research and Production Group (RAP)

The Red devil and Genocide Armoured tanks, and the Ogbunigwe bombs are some of the greatest indigenous military engineering that has come out from Nigeria and the Biafran Research and Production group (RAP) is the greatest indigenous research, development and production organisation ever established in Nigeria.

They Red devil, Genocide, and Ogbunigwe are war weapons that were locally fabricated by RAP of the then Biafran Republic during the Nigerian civil war also known as the Biafran war (July 6, 1967 – January 15, 1970), a war the Nigerian government fought against Biafra to counter Biafra’s secession from the Republic of Nigeria.

Biafran Research and Production group (RAP)

Biafran army started the war with just reconditioned Mauser bolt-action rifle, supported by small quantities of machine-pistols, sub-machine guns, light and heavy machine guns, and pistols. Mortar barrels and bombs, artillery pieces and shells.

The duty of making weapons and other machines needed to win the war was assigned to RAP. The RAP group led by the renowned Professor Gordian Ezekwe was comprised of men and women with scientific and technological background, formal and informal, who invested their devotion and patriotism to conduct research and fabricate essential material for the prosecution of the war. They were saddled with the task of technological innovation, copy technological creativity and improvisation under extreme privation.

The members of the RAP were teachers from the Universities, Colleges of Technology and Secondary Schools; research scientists from research and technical establishments; scientists, technologists, and craftsmen from various public services, such as Railways, Ports Authority, Electricity Corporation, Petroleum Refinery and Geological Surveys; engineers and technicians from the private sector such as Shell BP, United Africa Company (UAC) etc; and ordinary artisans, craftsmen and mechanics.

In the beginning of the war members of the RAP group operated as two distinct independent groups – the Enugu Group and the Port Harcourt group. The Enugu group was dominated by university scientist from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) and the Port Harcourt Group was led by engineers and technicians from Shell-BP and other industrial establishments around Port Harcourt. The group came together when Enugu fell to the Nigerian army.

The Biafran Red Devil Amoured Vehicles

RAP fabricated armoured vehicles nicknamed the Biafran Red Devil and Genocide from agricultural tractors, bulldozers and harvesters. The Red Devil were fabricated to suit operational difficulties – types A1-A5, B, C, and D, but the armoured vehicles could not endure the heavy stresses and strains needed for a challenging military operation demanded in warfare. According to Professor Kalu Uka of the University of Uyo in an interview, they lacked speed and suffered frequently from overheating.
I sincerely do hope you know what the word fabricated means, and how it is different from invention

And Ogbunigwe was not a product of Igbo ingenuity; it was a “bespectacled” American mercenary from Massachussets Institute of Technology, uncovered by the Irish journalist Donal Musgrave ,that was secretly training Biafrans on how to use fertilisers to make bombs (cf 13 August 1968 cable from American Embassy in Dublin to the one in the Lagos).

Fact is Biafra got external help from France with military hardware and boots on ground but met their waterloo in the hands Nigerian forces.
