Of course you can't, you either try to recall back those images after you've been conscious

There is no such thing as a soul or spirit. Consciousness is a function of the brain. There is zero evidence supporting the assertion that the soul exists.

Superb topic. This is why they say wisdom involves knowledge of Self. Man is made up of a Spirit (Adam) and a Soul or free Spirit (Eve). Both of whom are within the Mind (Temple of God) of Man. The Mind is master over the body/flesh. Mind over matter. We do what we think. The body is slave to the Mind. The brain (matter) is central to the expressions of the Spirit and Soul.

Adam = Spirit = Consciousness. The fruits of the Spirit are Love, inner peace, self-control, creativity, faith, hope, etc. This is the Conscience- that quiet voice that opposes the soul. The fruits of the soul are anger, envy, lust, ego, fear, intellect, etc. A new born baby is alive in the womb before it’s born. (Kicking,etc). Babies are pure and innocent (one spirit and soul controlled by the Spirit (Godhead)) until they develop their free spirit (soul), ego..

The purpose of life is to bring the soul under the control of the Spirit (Godhead). This is what marriage means, the union of the soul and spirit. The two become one Mind (yin/yang)
