Who say this country can be better? Both youths and leaders are still the same thing. Saraki decamped from PDP to APC to attained the post of senate president, now he don’t need them anymore or perhaps seeking presidential position...both APC and PDP are the evil parties in this countries, I don’t know why we re deluded to be celebrating this people, they are there for their pockets, no mercy for the masses whatsoever always want to hold on to power and more wealth. Many people shouting go and get your pvc now but we all know 2019 is between Buhari(APC) and either atiku or the newly decamped politians which means no fresh idea or innovatives but the usual suffering and smiling. The citizens are just the victims of their actions but the former deserves it because we keep celebrating this people. They are using Nigeria to play chess and we the audience keep watching and hailing them. Someone suggested they should sell the country and share the money to every citizen, then we can find our way.

He should also remember that retaining his seat as Senate President is not going to be easy but he has to fight on.
Because APC will never allow pdp to lead in the red house.
If actually those issues he raised in his epistle are true and he has integrity he should be able to resign as Senate President . Because you can't eat your cake and have it.
He is going to be frustrated out of that seat. In order to avoid tension in the house he should do the honourable thing.
But Saraki is very stubborn and cunning. He may not want to let go.
He should realize and remember how he got there as Senate President by manipulation so he should expect same to be done against him at any time.

Ole ni e, that is one of the lacunas in Nigeria constitution. If you leave a political party you suppose step down in any position you've attained through the party. Why will party A vote you and you decamp to party B, then still hold the position you attained through party A.

In a free and fair election, with the level of realignments, am sure the APC would lose the presidential elections

The sweetest part of the game is that the "deportees" and the decampees are largely part of his fulani brothers, so next year elections wouldn't be a northern vs southern thing or a Muslim vs Christian thing.

The last icing of the cake would be when tinubu would port and leave the APC, anyway the handwriting is on the wall. That without doubt should be the best thing he could do to protect the structures he has built in the south west.

Defection is a feature of democracy. Anybody can decide which party to associate with. Politicians are doing their business with masses as their weapons They are pushing us around as they want. . Thus from PDP to APC from APC to PDP to ADP to LP. The story continues. Why are they returning to PDP? They remember how they enjoyed under Obasanjo and Jonathan goverments,where they had freedom to loot our treasury with impunity. where senators were bribed before they approved budgets where budgets were inflated where money for senatorial budgets was pocketed where they committed crimes with impunity where they changed cars every year where EFCC could not arrest them because they were in power and where our economy was ruined because of unchecked corruption and lack of check and balances. There is no way to become self lords over Nigerians in Buhari government. All the sources of looting and corrupt practices have been blocked. They have forgotten that masses may be silent but we are wiser now. Let them go back to Egypt
We will wait for them at the gate in 2019.It is then that they will know that masses are not for coalition of thieves and corruption or rebirth of looting of our wealth in PDP which they are gathering for again. Only fools and misguided Nigerians will follow them like tatalongs.

IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem.
I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria.
The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway).
For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues.
