Pls i need advice on how to get my 04 EOD auto gear fixed, d gear disengages wenever i make a full turn or enter some bumps. My steerin oil is leakin & i'v been told to replace d whole steerin box, could there be any connection btw d steerin & d gear or is there smtin else i should look out for.

hi, i think the problem with that car is that it was accidented and the seller did not care enough to rebuild the chasiss well. The shift , the pump and the gear box was not set well in position . A good panel beater will have to work with a mechanic to reposition the whole system . The steering belt is pulling too hard on the pump. However this will might cost you up to 20k to fix . about 2 days of work . ok Tc

one thing i didnt mention, since the pump is licking, you have to replace it . you will get a good one at Ladipo or Oyinbo honda . maybe for 5 or 6 k not more than that.! Tell the seller that he has to give you gurantee and state so on the invoice cos sometimes they repair bad ones and sell, those one will not work , use their slags , '' direct tokumbo, follow come'' so they know that you know wht you are talking abt .
