Nigerian youths I greet you all, been a while I posted something on the forum but couldn't resist the urge to share this very important opinion of mine.I'll try to be blunt and straight forward as I can.First of all,I hear people on social media, radio,TV,papers and all other platforms there is advocating for the need to get PVC..."get your PVC,get your PVC,take back your future Nigerian youths and bla bla bla!"...wait after getting your pvc then what? Vote right! Vote for who? Buhari,APC,Atiku,PDP or who else is running for post these days...and then what again? Everything would be fine afterwards right? Lol

In as much as I like the generic PVC lines and the fact that we are all getting enlightened about our rights and all,and as such won't try to discourage anybody from exercising their rights, I still don't see the sense in all these PVC stories and advocacy for now if we can't get the main priority right.I know some might argue that we need to start now but I am afraid now might not be the time and I'm not sure if it's anytime soon because again I'm not sure if we are there yet. Before then we must focus on what really matters and what actually matter is you.Getting a pvc is good but your vote shouldn't come cheap as usual, it should not mean you want to hand over your future to someone to help you organise and create the popular "enabling environment"for you...lol seriously you need someone or one political party to do that for you?

For over 50 years even before we were born and now we are here we have all been down that road to no avail. The real problem is not about recycled politicians or older folks not giving us the chance to be the leaders of tomorrow but we as youths not taking the chance and not investing in things that are important but in the fact that we have been trying to do a different thing the same way over and over again,if it isn't the overplayed APC,PDP,Buhari,NASS,Atiku,Saraki, and bringing back leaders from AD and BC,it is helping to trend what ever political stories that gives us a certain high these days.

Secondly, I'm not saying your vote might not count but your vote WON'T count if for very good reasons you decide to try "take your future" by voting a very fine and intelligent youth from all these other parties like KOWA or Fela or Sowore's party it might amount to a total waste of time...you and I know why and so I don't have to spell out everything but if you want a good clue I'll try by telling you the system was not created to be on our side or even the side of someone with a good heart,it somehow changes you and everything around you, which leads to the crux of the matter.

The best project you can ever embark on is YOU,your project and there are no rule(s) anywhere that states that the only way for you to win is through politics, voting or even an enabling environment,as a matter of fact, you can be boiling with more ideas in a hostile environment, yeah I said it! You just need to have an idea, entrepreneurship and business is a better way to take your future if possible, the Dangotes,Tony Elumelus,Femi Otedoles,Mike Adenugas and so on of this world didn't make it by having a PVC or voting or coming online to take their future, they had a personal plan and tried their best to get it on the way from scratch,Now politicians come to them for support. If the trending topic on social media these days was about going out there solving problems, starting a business, getting paid whilst forgetting about recycled politicians (cos really they don't genuinely care about us,only to sponsor PVC advocates on SM) only then I'd finally say my people, the youths have finally woken up and taking their future the best way possible.

Conclusively, let me state it in clear terms...you cannot necessarily take your future by just mere PVCs,politics, politicians, hashtags and complaints, invest your time and resources in yourself, your business, your work and any thing that adds one plus one to you not the usual facebook and social media rants about how people must get their PVCs and take their future,do you even know how hard it is to get a PVC in Nigeria? And at the end of the day mtsww ...make I no just talk.
