For the past four weeks PDP aspirants with various interests have been making pilgrimage trips to West to pay homage. FFK alone has received no less than four visitors, Obasanjo's is uncountable, latest is Saraki.

Trying not to overshadow his party chairman, Tinubu has directed traffic to Oshiomhole for consulations particularly those looking for return tickets in 2019. He sees only a few with mission critical issues, like he met recently with Ganduje on strategy for the team up between Kwankwaso and Shekarau.


So what does all these mean? Why are politicians trooping to West?

The 2019 battle will be won/lost in the SW.... We know it, the parties know it, the aspirants themselves more than know they can't afford not to make nice....

PDP lost SW long time since Wike told them they are not relevant and cannot be party leader.

I continue to say, it's either PDP is cursed or lack good adviser. A strategy that failed woefully in 2015 is the same adopted again for 2019.

Using tribal and religious sentiment, will further compound the woe of a party with a toga of corruption.
