According to Nigerian News Agency, group representing retired and active footballers on Wednesday in Abuja beckoned on the Acting President to order the immediate withdrawal of Department State Service operatives from the premises of the Nigeria football federation.

The Group was led by Harrison Jalla former President of National association of Nigerian footballers as well as former Vice-President of the NFF Victor Baribote.

In the peaceful protest close to the gate leading to the secretariat, the group described the recent happening as the violation of the law.

 “Nigeria is a creation of law, DSS should obey the laws of the land’’ and “FG, sack DSS Director of Operations’’ were the statement written on their placard as they protested. Other placards bore inscriptions such as “Osinbajo, direct the DSS to follow rule of law, our laws are being disobeyed’’ and “Tell DSS to obey rule of law’’.

In his interview with the Media, Jalla stated that the presence of DSS in the venue was a threat to the Nigerian constitution.

 “There will be anarchy if by tomorrow (Thursday) they (DSS personnel) don’t leave here,’’ he said. “Nigeria is a sovereign nation, and it deserves a lot of respect. So, FIFA should be mindful of whatever directive it is giving.’’

Baribote responded that he was surprised that the DSS could be violating the laws of Nigeria that created it.

“It is shameful that a creation of law like the DSS is violating the law. It is supposed to comply with the order of the Supreme Court which is the highest court in Nigeria,” he said.

in 1983, Bahuri was a minister during which late Saraki was made the commissioner for works in their state. Buhari was asked to send some lists for project to the said Saraki state with some portfolio containing money and the amount was in dollar but Saraki said he would hold the money till next year which was Easter. Before Christmas, Buhari came to enugu to do Christmas with Saraki family but they chose to use their family house for the celebration. So Buhari and late Saraki killed 3 rams and sent some parts to Edo state but uncle to Tinubu received the meat and gave chicken to his wife to use for stew. So, since the Easter was close and Christmas was almost getting to an end, Buhari was asked to go and meet Saraki for the remaining project which without killing the ram it won't work and Buhari's wife was about to deliver by then. After the journey the election was cancelled, nobody was seen any where and this got Buhari angry. Meanwhile, people later left and Saraki died while Buhari developed internal bleeding. So, this thing really caused a very big problem and till today, Saraki has not done the Easter and Buhari has not accepted that the meat was actually goat meat and until they both see their wives and confirm. That's just the problem. They should please settle

The implication is that as long as DSS remains there to prevent lawlessness and illegal change of executives, FIFA will NOT ban Nigeria. Like I said before, go and educate yourself about this issue first. It is not everytime that the police or DSS is deployed that you start abusing your leaders because of political differences.
