Acidosis: I will never be jesus nether im i claiming to be God. Jesus was sinless while on earth, which brings lot of distinction between my self and christ. jesus.: "Pastor's" subscription to IFA theology is a huge turn-off, especially if u consider that he most often presents this views just as a medium/messenger and not as his personal well subscribed opinions. He has had the opportunity to shed more light on the relevance of IFA to Christianity. For one, I have never pretended to know the full ontological implication of IFA, but "Pastor" comes across as someone who does, yet he also claims to be a pastor. It is only incubent that he at least attempts to reconcile IFA beliefs to Christianity in an intellectual manner. P.S I believe "Pastor" AIO is intelligent enough to construct a meaningful/explicit/well versed analogy of why any believer should subscribe to IFA. To ultimately say that IFA or African worship traditions is anti-Christ is to pretend to know when u do not know. . . because long before Christianity was imported to Africa, our ancestors knew God. But to also assume that IFA can be juxtaposed with Christianity is to be a wolf in sheep's clothing cos Christ taught that He is the only way. It is "Pastor's" REFUSAL to explain gaps like this and his consistent critical rebuke of Christian doctrines that makes me put an inverted comma on his title. |

noetic16: No Noetic, that is not true, we need to set the record straight. 1. Pastor does not agree with most of my views: he has consistently argued against much of my propositions. 2. I do not agree with your views: yet i consider you one of the greatest gifts that this forum has as far as intellect goes. I have said this repeatedly. 3. I regard Pastor's mind as broad because it simply is: he is not boxed in by any worldview: and he shows staggering depth of mind and character. A sure candidate for heaven, i would think. |
