I’d doubt if either of us slept at all through the night. Obviously, we were both pinned down by guilt, tormented, debased and devastated.

A child that eventually eats of what he keeps vigil for would definitely doze off..

We have both tasted of the forbidden fruit in New Haven and we felt nothing but acerbity and astringent .. ..

That would smoothly define the sorry case of Myself and Bro. Mathew.

Early in the morning, as early as 6:30am, Chimezie had woken up to dress for work. He knocked on our room door to check if we were awake already. He was surprised to see we were both fully dressed.

“Wow, “did you guy attend any job interview last night that you’re both fully dressed before a bank staff?, he jokingly asked surprisingly.

Mathew acted as if nothing happened, he managed to drop a smile. It seemed Chimee had coded what happened as his white bed sheet was replaced with a sky blue stripped one…. Bad boy, he acted indifferent and rather behaved as if he didn’t notice it…...
