The Federal Government on Tuesday inaugurated the Presidential Advisory Committee on Prerogative of Mercy.

The committee is chaired by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN).

It has the responsibility of recommending to the President prisoners and ex-convicts deserving presidential pardon.
