Door2Door Campaign Organisation, the umbrella campaign body for immediate past Senate President, Senator David Mark, has reacted to report that its principal was warming up to go back to the upper chamber for the sixth time.

Mark has been occupying the Benue South Senatorial seat since the return of democracy in 1999.

Report emerged lately the Peoples Democratic Party had settled for 60/40 formula for incumbents who have the first right of refusal to re-contest in 2019 in order to maintain peace and stability in the party.

The development would offer Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom automatic ticket while other incumbents would stay put.

Reacting to the development, National Coordinator of Door2Door and front line House pf Reps aspirant, Comrade James Oche said there is no iota of truth in the party.

According to him, Mark had no interest in the seat, which he had occupied for 19 years now.

He told wwwIDOMAVOICE.com that Mark’s concern now is to bring the PDP back to winning ways.

Oche, who is gunning to represent Ado, Okpokwu and Ogbadibo at the green chamber, told our reporter on phone thus, “No iota of truth in the story. God have better plans for the Okpokpowulu K‘Nigeria.

“For clarity- Our leader is not in anyway considering contesting for the Benue south senatorial seat in the forth coming election.

“We are primarily concerned with bringing back our party to its winning ways first and foremost. On 2019, the yearning of the majority of the suffering Nigerian masses and the will of God is the direction we will go.”
