Thank God you even agreed that there was a court pronouncement that was against him. However, your assertion is still in speculative, which can either be there or here.
He has to prove beyond reasonable doubt that his publication against Saraki was not libelous and injurious with facts. Freedom of Press does not include freedom to libel. Journalism expect deep searching of facts.

They have been slamming law suit on Sahara reporters and at the end we hear nothing about it or they withdraw from the case, i already know how this one will end.

The church has the right to sue. Truly the church belongs to God but also it is a corporate organization duly registered at the corporate affairs commission. When someone consistently tramples on your right or defames you, you have the right to sue such a person. How will you feel when someone publishes in the news stories of things that you never did? Damaging peoples reputation and careers because you are a journalist must be checkmated. If you take a look you will not find Dr. Olukoya attending 'political functions'. He never honors such pretentious political occassions. He is a very private person and always minds his business. He also would have tried to avoid going to court. The decision to go to court would have been taken after a very careful examination of the situation and repeated requests to Mr. Sowore and his group to ensure that they only publish the right things. Mr. Sowore will not tolerate it either. Now he is going around the country canvassing for support. With false reports about churches where will he get the courage from to ask for votes from christians? The truth must be told that sensational journalism or fake news must stop. If his organization and others like his are made to pay huge costs, that will help make them more careful.
