came from Benin to Abuja on Thursday. The roads are horrible. All eyes were on my vehicle when i entered Gwagwalada. Covered with dirts and two busted shock absorbers.
Sorry couldn't take pictures. From Benin to Abuja, No single road contractor on the way. Inspite of the noises about sukuk, etc.
Shame!!!

About a week ago; I opened this thread on how terrible our roads are in Nigeria; Lagos is a prototype to the decadence but my oga at the top lalastically ignore it. Going from Ikeja to Ikeja now takes like one and half hours minimally.

Interesting thread

Good time to begin to show what the incumbents have been doing (or ignoring) or just waking up to do to score political points.

Also a tenable template to use in building a benchmark for aspirants (incumbent or not).

After roads and transportation, probably run others on health, waste disposal, water supply, education, security, power and housing

Because, these are supposed to be the primary elements of government and not where leaders are from, what party they belong to or or who they’re partying with or fighting against.

That's why we don't want ambode for second time, he his only constructing federal road that he can include their selfish BRT lane. All inner road are so bad, education unattended too during fashola tenure i am beneficiary of one his great policy which makes every secondary student have access to text books for free which I don't think still exist. Bad road bad waste management I dey vex for ambode Gan sanwo olu for gorvenor joor

Badddddddd!!
Lagos roads are sooo fucking bad..ikotun,iyana ipaja, Ikeja..lagos roads are getting worse they need massive attention from the governor before it becomes something else.. when it rains every where is flooded.the drainage hasn't been cleared in years...it's not about doing bustops and monuments everywhere, we need good roads.i am soo disappointed in Lagos based on its high revenue, I expect so much more from my governor...
The useless contractor working on the Mangoro-Cement road Lagos -Abeokuta towards Sango that decided to first destroy the entire road before fixing turning iyana ipaja to a hellhole is not serious
Ambode is overrated
