Hi, please I need advice. Am intending on going for a short vacation, probably in Florida. Its the royal Caribbean cruise. These are the things I want to know

1. How much should I have in my bank account to convince, the people issuing the visa that i will return. Am unmarried, no landed property, no job, am a trader.

2. I have no one inviting me, do I really need an invitation letter, if yes. How do I get one?

3. Besides UAE, can you please tell me of another great vacation destination?

4. Can I travel to another country to acquire a US visa, what would it entail?

Am very noviced about everything am 28 years. I've come to realize life is a very short journey, and I want to see as much as I can before mine ends. Thanks

1. Its not your money in tve account tbat will convince the visa officer that youll return...its your strong socio-economic ties to nigeria. Eg..husband and children, well paying job, lucrative business etc.

The money in the account is to show that you can afford the trip and cater for yourself during your stay.

2. You do not need an invitation letter in this case. Paid receipts for the cruise should do. Ask the cruise company, they should give you more concrete information in this regard.

3. I am not 100% sure but unless you are a permanent resident or citizen of the other country you will have to apply at the embassy in Nigeria.

4. Botswana, Sychelles, Barbados are nice places to visit. This could help to set a precedence that you are a cruise lover to the Visa Officer.

You have no husband
You no landed property
You are a trader.

Now, except your business is registered and yielding good returns you may have few challenges (even those with good returns face challenges when they meet VO).

What the V.O is interested in is your ties, which you should concentrate on. So check on that and may God fulfil your heart desire
