Unbelievable.

So clean and neat. The serenity looks absolutely homely, and a paradise one will want to return to.

Aside the large human migration to the urban areas, and non-comformity to urban planning. I think one of the things that caused most major cities in the East to go awry, was the destruction of their carefully planned cities during the civil war.

They never recovered.

But again, Enugu City is still as beautiful as it was then. I visit Enugu a lot,and I never get tired of how beautiful and welcoming that city is.

Maybe other Eastern cities/towns should borrow the Enugu city model, and see if it will work for them.

Only one picture cannot be used to judge the whole city, pix could have been taken in a cool location. No disrespect though

Aba of today is also a beautiful site to behold, just that in the last 16yrs wicked people wanted to kill the city but thank God that the son of the soil is now at the helm (Dr Okezie Ikpeazu) and he is seriously bringing the city back to life

So, this your Aba? Forgetting that Aba use to be a British administered province comprising today's Abia South and majority of Abia Central Senatoria Zones with nine LGAs today.

People will just post one enclave in old Eziukwu clan and call it Aba.

even with the destruction and non recovery of the eastern cities , is there really any Nigerian city that looks better than the eastern Nigeria cities aside the former and present capitals of Nigeria, Owerri , Onitsha, Aba, Umuahai, Enugu were all destroyed and flattened during the war and have risen and done better than cities of same age group that never faced any war

How the entire Eastern region regained itself economic ,structural, psychological & in all other respects is worthy of commendation.
Meanwhile Nigeria have never developed or known peace since that genocide.
