There's a topic on front page where a dispute between an oil drilling company and their Nigerian members of staff has NUPENG, warri branch, threatening to escalate Nationwide with possible disruption of oil industry activities.

Now according to insiders, this issue happening at a site owned by an indigenous oil company, Sterling global, has been on for 6 months with no resolution. However, what surprised me is that the poster whose post is reproduced below believes it's targeted at his ethnic group.

vanbonattel:
this is how it always happens, as soon as year end approaches, Nupeng, pengassa, nnpc, NLC and all other bodies start shaking things, cumulating in a strike or work stoppage. all aimed at the target, make fuel scarce at year end when igbos need to travel or do end of year business.

this is an artificial means of creating a scarcity which they will all benefit from higher fuel prices that will come down again in april 2019

as usual, buharri government will be watching in gross incompetence, with that short man lawyer pastor sitting there like a houseboy.

Why does this guy and some others think these kind of issues are always political and targeted at their ethnic group?

There's also the minister of labor that this issue falls within his purview but of course our poster doesn't go after him for very obvious reasons (the minister is his tribesman) but instead goes after the VP?

Why is this victim mentality allowed to fester? How does it help anybody? How does it even help the poster or his aspirations for himself or his folks?

Is he saying the wronged workers at the site in Kwale have no right to agitate for their rights, even though plenty of them share kinship with him, because it might make him pay higher in December? Or he simply sees these workers as pawns in his game of hatred and bitterness?

Another Yoruba man who wants to die on top of Igbo matter.

When an Igbo man sees a Yoruba man, all her sees is a Yoruba man

But when a Yoruba man sees an Igbo man, what he sees will take 100 years to describe.............

I'm sure you read the post of your brother which I quoted? Instead of him to mention the shorter Dr Ngige, who is the minister of labor, in a purely labor affair, he's mentioning the short Prof Osinbajo because he'll die of sorrows if he hasn't blamed a Yoruba man in one day.

Also, how does a trade dispute between workers and their management translate to a plan to stop igbo Christmas movement?
