A 22 years old final year student, whose name is Diriyal Prince Daniel of Isaac Jasper Boro College of Education, Bayelsa State, allegedly committed suicide after been jilted by his lover, who is also a final year student in the same school.

Prince reported drank insecticide after he had disagreement with his girlfriend who jilted him for another man. He died after the bottle of the insecticide damaged his lung and other major part of his intestines before he could be rushed to hospital.

The deceased is said to be the only son of his parent, he was buried on the same day he gave up the ghost at his hometown at Kaiama, Opokuma local government.

Recently, same incident happened two months ago when a student of Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Ayuba Daniel also committed suicide by drinking the same insecticide called sniper.



Should committing suicide be the next option when jilted in a relationship? There is always a better person out there who is ready to love you unconditionally if you easily move on and reopen your heart for love.

Sad. Wish I was able to advice him before the deed was done. Heart break can be hard at times but not enough reason to kill yourself.
