Hi Nairalanders. How can one reduce excessive sweat from the armpit? I have used quite a number of anti~perspirant/deodorant but I still sweat a lot though, smell nice. What can I do cos wet underams can be really embarrassing. |

get proper antiperspirant... and remember that there is HUGE difference between the proper ANTIPERSPIRANT and the proper DEODORANT. antiperspirant stops your armpits from sweating, while deodorant makes your armpits smell good. |

segunernes: The antiperspirant may not work if you sweat excessively. Maintain a proper hygiene at all times (this includes regular shaving of your armpit). Have your bath twice or thrice daily. Buy and use quality undershirts (not singlets). These undershirts helps to absorb sweat. |

I am Seeking Opinions too..have used a few but none seem to work, looks like I might just settle for deodorant instead just to smell nice when I sweat since I can't stop or control my under arm sweat |

eaddyboy: 1. You can apply and leave for like 3minutes before washing it off while taking your bath. 2. You can rub it on your armpit after bath and also still wear your antiperspirant. Which ever you will be comfortable with. Please if any reaction, discontinue. Thanks. |

eaddyboy: It baffles me that you went ahead to apply raw alum on your armpit. Do you if it will have side effects on you? Did you research well about it if it is safe to use on the skin? It is not everything you read online that you apply. |
