After seeing someone's post as regards what one can can achieve with a 42k salary, I decided to ask my own question.
I do not live in Abuja, Lagos or Port Harcourt.
I am planning to get married soon.
Can I do that with 50k salary?

If you have have bulk money for the marriage expenses with prudent planning, you can live with 50k,

If wifey also has a good source of income, you will be comfortable.

But don't use 50k to go and marry a student, you will develop gray hairs

If your wife is an independent woman, you can go ahead. Like the guy above me said, don't use 50k salary to marry a student you go old before time

50k ! I disagree, what happens when your wife gives birth within a year with the added expense of having a child not forgetting the extra cost which may come if she has to do CS or even giving birth to twins or triplets.

I just hope you have a side hustle cos it's little though it is wrong to say that you should wait until you begin earning a lot because most times, the money we make might never be enough

So Wats your ideal income of a young man that is really thinking about getting married?

The economy appears harsh. In any situation I advice the moderator asking here to invest 2 months salary of 100k into something on the side like food processing, farming, trading or good skill acquisition for the bride to be, this is so she can be an asset.
