Hi guys

I’m looking for advice if anyone can help me and my Nigerian husband are really struggling, we speak every day but The last time we saw each other was in April 2017. Since then a lot has happened. He applied to come to UK on a visit visa in December 2017 and I filled in the application form for him and I got a question wrong- the question was ‘have you ever applied for a UK visa before’ and I put no when he had because I didn’t understand the question with having Autism/Aspergers Syndrome and now he has been refused and also it looks like for the next ten years, any application he makes will be likely to be refused. We cannot even appeal against it. Then in March this year things got worse when they stopped my Disability Living Allowance. Luckily I managed to get onto Personal Indepence Payment but I’m on much less money than I was before that now I can’t even save up enough to go and see him in Lagos. We actually don’t know what to do, and things are going to get worse when Brexit happens. All we want is a chance to live our lives together and be happy, not miserable and apart.

Any advice will be welcomed
Thankyou so much everyone

Have you considered going through spouse visa route? If your husband is unable to sponsor himself for visiting visa even if you have the whole money getting a visiting visa will be tough.

We would love to but even the spouse visa is like £1,000 fee and we don’t even have that kind of money

It's more than that amount. You can save up to visit him in Nigeria

Or you could just move back to Nigeria to be with him.. They don't kill people in Nigeria.

What exclusion clauses are available for disabled applicants, spousal visa application (regarding documents prerequisites + eligibility) ?

If OP can fulfil the above criteria, applying for a loan would have to be the only option available or seeking financial assistance from friends......

Your best and only bet is the spousal visa route ........ Regardless of a 10 year ban, this route cancels it ....
