Is there any way our politicians can go on strike, so that our
hard earned resources can be saved from these thieves?

NLC is dead and buried since the time it was factionalized! Buhari increased fuel pump price and they did nothing! Some faction went on strike; some faction took bribe from Buhari and frustrated the strike!!

NLC are fighting a fight that they know that they have already been defeated, how can u go on strike because of minimum wage increment while so many state are owing their workers and pensioners 12 to 24 months salaries and NLC did not take any action. Is it minimum wage increment that Nigeria civil servants needs or prompt payment of salaries as at wen due.

Very correct! Government expenditure is what needs to come down for better governance. Increasing salaries will only increase inflation in the system and the rat race continues, and it only gets worse from there. Even at 18k minimum wages, in some states, workers are owed many months salaries. Now imagine they increase it to maybe 50k, where will the money come from under this current arrangement? grin

Hmmm......how can a union force its workers to strike?...and where was the security forces? Breach of security at an airport has international consequences. Those union leaders should be locked up and charged.

Public places like this ought to be guarded closely by security forces to prevent miscreants from trying to foment trouble. If the Airport workers wanted to join in the strike, they would have done just that without NLC trying to force them naaa undecided unionism should be an voluntary and not involuntary act.

NLC should beat them all up. NLC is on strike some miscreants and cowards want to run away from this country. Do they think they are helping the nation and it's problems by running away. They are lending support to the government by doing such

Okay, what does reduction in government expenses add to you as a worker? angry Government not paying salary is not a result of expenses. It's a result of dimwittedness.angry Order of priority. angry These folks take us for a ride angry

Don't let envy and jealousy drive you. angry Focus on the main thing. angry The main thing is that what is on payslip is practically what is not up to standard. angry Running after politicians is what folks have been doing from time immemorial. angry If you like reduce govt expenses to 1,000 Naira per month, it doesn't change the fact that human beings are being treated worse than machines. angry

Ask yourself, is it the politician's pay that is my problem, or is it the peanuts a human gets paid at the end of over 150 hours of a month? angry Even if minimum wage were 200 Naira per hour, a human being cannot be paid 18k for working over 150 hours of a week. angry

When they implement it, then they KNOW how to pay it. angry Don't make leaders' work easier for them by being short sighted. angry You will only be shortchanging yourself or others who are not as skilled as you may be. angry Those folks earn millions because of the massive work they SHOULD be doing angry Which of course they don't do, all thanks to the ignorant people they lead. angry

Those governors not paying should be impeached. angry Being a leader is not fun. angry If you cannot think of solutions, FŪCK OFF! angry
