The Director of Media for the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo, has reacted to the outcome of the Osun State governorship election, with the All Progressive Congress, APC, candidate Gboyega Oyetola defeating Adeleke Ademola of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to emerge Governor Rauf Aregbesola’s successor.

DAILY POST had reported that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Friday declared the candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, winner of the gubernatorial election in Osun State.

The State Returning Officer, Prof. Joseph Adeola Afuwape said Oyetola garnered 255505 votes to defeat his main rival, Senator Ademola Adeleke who polled 255023 votes

Reacting to Oyetola’s victory, Keyamo on his Twitter page described the election as a victory for democracy.

He condemned those faulting the outcome of the poll.

Keyamo wrote: “For those crying foul over the Osun Guber final result, the real injustice was in trying to stop a game of 90 minutes at the 80th minute because a team was leading 1-0.

“The result at full time is what matters. Congrats to all those who worked very hard at this. Victory for democracy.”

Prof.Sagay, Prof.Soyinka, Femi Falana, Festus Keyamo, Femi Adeshina, etc are some of the people that will forever go down in infamy as men who sold their conscience to this evil goverment.

This is the reason Nigeria is were it is, and may never be coming out of the mess it is in.

Who would believe a few years back that Keyamo can call what happened in Osun state victory for democracy? Who would believe that the once respected and perhaps most popular labour leader in Nigeria's history could champion such an illegallity?

The truth is that many People crying foul toda Will bê in support of APC if they were in the mainstream of APC politics.

If Adeleke were in omisore's shoes, he most certainly would have done what Omisore did. If PDP were to be the ruling party, they would have done exactly what APC did. In fact an obasanjo would have concluded the election on Saturday, with a wide margin and tell you to go to hell. The only reasonably different person was Jonathan an accidental leader, with a history of not being power hungry. Not a conventional politician. His stance during the last election has returned us to the real Nigerian system, albeit under a different party, with the same people.

An average Nigerian has no principle. He is governed by his stomach (parochial and mundane intetest).

Doing things for the overall betterment of people is alien to the average Nigerian.

Honestly this Osun thing is becoming a stale gist.

When Adeleke won the senatorial election it was free and fair but now that he lost it is not free and fair abeg where is any any election free and fair anywhere in the world?

All the socalled big guns in PDP were no where to be found and you think election is a bread and butter game. Every party rigs but only the smarter one carries the day. Enough of the wailing and let them head to tribunal and let us hear word abeg.
