Why don’t people have meat ,fish or chicken as breakfast or dinner in Nigeria?
Who said we have to eat small pieces of these things by putting it on our rice, eba or amala?
I fried some chicken to eat as breakfast yesterday . Yes ,just chicken. I ate to satisfaction. But one or two people that saw me were condemning the act. I’m confused

"balance diet" . your food should be in three portion; carb, protein and vegetables, due to financial conditions in some homes, its not economical to have the three in equal portion, so people opt for large carb, small vegetables and little protein however in a standard restaurant, a meal of chicken is mostly served with some salad and some fries

It’s not about balance diet . Abeg . You don’t have to eat it as breakfast, dinner ,and lunch .
People eat just beans all the time .
Just say financial conditions.

people eat half/full chicken with cabage and onions dressing as barbecue, and suya with cold beer(not as a meal but side dish) financial conditions aside, when it comes to a "meal" a standard meal your instincts naturally wants it balanced, eg bread and beans etc no matter how rich you are except perhaps a full carnivorous human you must crave carbohydrates.

Maybe your right smiley.
My American friend eats just chicken or just steak every now and then . He only adds ketchup . That’s not our thing down here in Nigeria. Never

Na money cause am. Meat is expensive here and chicken is seen as a luxury item.
In Western nations poor people have their own budget way of eating also. I know some homeless people survive on oats almost every meal, some porridge and others eat mashed potatoes.
