Nigerians have taken to social media to react following the allegations made by governor Akin Ambode against another aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, whom he claimed he's not fit to govern Lagos state.

Mr Ambode, who has been in the eye of the storm, stated this while addressing a press conference at Government House, Alausa, Ikeja.

He said the aspirant was arrested for spending fake dollars in the United States and had undergone rehabilitation at Gbagada General Hospital in Lagos.

The governor also appealed to the leadership of the APC in Lagos to act in the interest of the development of Lagos

At the end of the day, it is Lagosians and people who live and do business in Lagos State that are going to lose. Ambode has made enough money that will last him a lifetime, if he invests his money well. Tinubu is a Billionaire in Dollars and Pounds. Take that from me . Tell me, what has the Lagos State Government actually done for you? How are you enjoying governance under AD, ACN and APC in Lagos State? In your neighbourhood, do you have a Public Library there? How motorable are the roads in your area? A man has to speak out when he has to do that. Let Ambode fight and if he loses, let him take his chances with another Political party, not necessarily PDP. If elections were what they are supposed to be in Nigeria,this issue of tinubu is not supposed to come up because he is one individual just like every other Lagocian,i don't see how only his vote alone will make a candidate win or lose.

Everywhere, Even high brow Ikoyi is littered with refuse. Ambode is spending billions building bus stops and terminuses' whereas the roads leading the people to the bus stops and terminuses are in a grave state of disrepair.
During Fashola's tenure, they were doing a program - "One Infrastructure at a time"- selecting roads in every locality & repairing them using contractors & the public works corporation. But in Ambode's time, the bus stops being built will only cater for Lagos BRT buses & not all buses. Too much money spent to serve a few..

Where Femi Pedro another Tinubu deputy and few other that went head to head with Tinubu ? There are some battle you just can't. There are more than 10 candidates better than Ambode when he was picked, so he gained from this system and shouldn't complain.

Let's ask ourselves who is right first...tinubu met the state and should rule and leave the state alone.

If this young man is fighting to free himself from shackles of godfatgerism, we should support him. Because it's right and because that's the direction we should be going logically..if we want to catch up with the rest of the world.
