It’s one of the most popular apps in the world, but it appears that Instagram has crashed for many users. The problems appear to have started at around 08:00 BST, and are affecting users around the world - including the UK, Australia and Canada. Several people have taken to DownDetector to report the problem. Fifty-six per cent said they were having problems with their newsfeed, while 37 per cent said the problem was with log- in, and 6 per cent had problems with the website.
