... Appeals for caution, patience from motorists

The Enugu State Government has appealed further to motorists to exercise patience and caution while driving, following the on going repairs of potholes in urban and intercity roads in the state.

A statement by the Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Engr. Greg Nnaji, explained that the Ministry has for the past four weeks commenced aggressive maintenance of roads in the state, which has resulted to cutting and removal of failed sections, and subsequent stabilization with soil cement treated base/stone base materials before the final stage of priming and pavement with hot rolled asphalt.

Engr. Nnaji added that once the cutting of identified potholes is done, it would take about three days for the entire process to be completed for the desired result to be achieved.

The works commissioner therefore assured that "this process will now be faster with the receeding rains", stressing that "we are committed to effective road maintenance and safety of road users at all times".

They should also fix the road that leads to Nsukka.
That road is totally phucked up.

When I finish hustling in lagos I'll be back to 042 to rest and enjoy the rest of my life. I've never seen a city like enugu. The serene enviroment, Good roads and infrastructure, security, cheap houses and basic amenities. Enugu is the place to be.

It's a good development. This is why it will be difficult for anybody to easily forget Sullivan Chime. He brought a lot of good infrastructure and development to Enugu state.

Enugu is in deed a Shadow of itself courtesy of her failed leader who has among his major achievements includes dispossetion of lands and other properties therein from private owners.
A state that pays the least salary, and gratuities of many are yet to be settled, health, education, agric and other sectors have been abandoned, Fulani herders are having a bazer, people are indeed suffering .
