its a taboo to kill eke(pyton) in my place ooo..... OZubulu to be precise... Magically. Its can never harm us and if we kill it by mistake. You bury it and do the funeral like that of a human being.

Haba, all you nd your neighbours had to do was find a way to safe guard the head, get it into a sac, and take it to a zoo or better go dump it in a remote forest.[b]

These snakes are gentle giants. They tend to shun humans altogether.Must we Nigerians kill everything just because they slither or crawl? It was probably lost or just looking for somewhere warm to hibernate as the dry season approaches. We are developing and building more housing on their territory so it gets harder for them to avoid us as much as they will like to. You could have just led it out or captured it safely and taken to a zoo or back into the wild.

So many bushes and forests dey. Enter as many as possible and catch as many as possible and take them to zoo. Here is Africa and its better to attack wild animals before they attack u. If the story has been the other way, we could be sympathising.
