It sounds Utopian to think that every wedding in Naija is super colourful and glamourous, the point is that  I see folks wed every Saturday and  something tells me that it is an average wedding or  "abi I no try wedding"  The impression that every Naija woman deserves a star studded wedding is a figment of imagination that is being stretched to infinity or unless she's got money to support it. I believe that a friend who asked me for N20,000 to support his wedding is also not in sync with Naija  reality and so is his wife who married him for not throwing  a wedding they could not afford. Maybe the logo for Naija wedding is marry me today. throw a big wedding tomorrow , go broke after and I will dump backside.
ROTFLMAO!!! grin grin grin You right tho

I THINK YOU'RE VEXING BECAUSE IF YOUR GIRL SEES THIS, YOU KNOW YOU'LL BE PAYING BIG.

Of course not every Nigerian women is going to get a glam wedding, 80% of us on this thread are just dreaming. Allow it  wink

But come o, where are these beautiful Nigerian women coming from.

I thought Nigerian men say we're ugly?
Re: Post Pictures Of Traditional Weddings. by moremi2008(m): 11:18pm On Jul 15, 2010
How much does it cost to throw weddings as glam as this? I hear different estimates ranging from NGN 5 - 30 million. What's the realistic budget? Nothing too outlandish, just a typical glamorous wedding that looks as nice as these ones?

Hmm, dats very far 4rm d truth,

A blatant lie I tell u!

The bride in question is glamourized,

Peeps buy the aso-ebi and sew it out of their own pocket!

If u want an indoor celebration, rent a hall and decorate it.

How much does it cost to get drinks, kola, palm wine, garden eggs, I don't think that much!

In my opinion, the ceremony will cost more, if u marry eastern or south south ladies, u know now; dowry payment, lol!

So with what I've said, wat would be your take on the estimated price? 5 mill, ? anh anh, don't think so!

Lol, but wat do u guys mean by picasso painted?

Do I sense jealousy?!

Madness to the highest degree I see my cuzzos weddings posted on this thread.

Aside from the yoruba/edo weddings I like the calabar joint- they usually have dancers at them.
