Thirteen days after your test day, your IELTS results is out and can be checked online. It’s only natural to be eager to see your it as you would to any contest! Just calm down. Checking your IELTS results is just one thing; you might need to know a couple of other things as well about it.

Checking Your IELTS Results (Test Report Form or TRF)

Click here: https://ielts.britishcouncil.org/CheckResults.aspx to view your IELTS results online. You will need to input your test date, Date of Birth, Identification Document Number and Candidate number. When you are done, hit the “find” button and your results will be displayed to you instantly.

Getting Your IELTS Results (TRF)

IELTS results will be sent via courier to candidates with contact addresses outside Lagos. Lagos residents should pick their results from the British Council office in Ikoyi, Lagos. You can get your results only on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. Residents of Port Harcourt can get theirs on Wednesdays.

Lost Your IELTS Results?

Note that your IELTS results can be issued to you only once except if you applying to United Kingdom Border Agency (UKBA) or Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

Sending IELTS Results To Institutions

It’s inspiring to note that up to five additional copies of your IELTS results can be sent to receiving institutions (immigration offices, universities, schools, etc) free of charge within 30 days of your test date via ordinary post. How? You can do this at the time you are registering for the exam, if you want British Council to send your results on your behalf. Make sure to include the correct and relevant addresses. Alternatively, you can download the Application for additional TRF form, complete and submit to your local British Council office.
