Atiku revealed how his former boss, Olusegun Obasanjo, before the 2003 elections, gave him the task to deliver the six South-west states then governed by the Alliance for Democracy (AD) to the PDP.

Mr Abubakar said that in carrying out the task, he delivered all the states to PDP, except Lagos. The former vice president said that he deliberately did not do much to win Lagos because of his relationship with the former governor, Bola Tinubu.
He apologised to party members for what he called his mistake, saying that Lagos would have been better off, if he had delivered it to the PDP then.

“When we came to power in 1999, the entire South-western states were controlled by the AD. And when we were approaching the 2003 elections, I told my boss, give me the chance to take over the South-west “And he gave me that authority, and I took all the states with the exception of Lagos.

Why? Because Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and I came a long way from the SDP, PDM and all of that, and I felt I should leave Lagos for him.

Tinubu borrowed 1 billion from Atiku during the 2015 campaigns

Atiku loaned Tinubu the sum of N1 billion in 2015 to finance deficits incurred during the presidential campaign which ushered in President Muhammadu Buhari, while promising to repay after the elections, but the latter refused to keep his part of the deal.

Where was Osibanjo when Buhari was dealing with Tinubu in late 2016 to early 2017?

as we all know that in politics..there is no permanent friends but interest.. I can say that tinubu may dump APC if he knows that the center isn't gonna be won..but on a condition that Atiku leave Lagos governorship to him..reason why he let ambode out of the equation so that he can manipulate sanwo-olu...

come next year. there will be some alignment and realignment when the cast is clear who may likely win... the progressive Yorubas will not dance to tinubu music... there will be a split in BAT camp...

The Primary was moved to avoid FG interference. Tinubu personally offered APC Presidential ticket to Atiku and only supported Buhari after the emergence of Buhari.

He borrowed 1 billion Naira from Atiku to finance Buhari's election.
