Manchester United Coach Jose Mourinho believes Chelsea can win the Premier League as long as Eden Hazard keeps performing.

The Portuguese manager returns to his former club on Saturday as his United team take on the Blues at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are still unbeaten this season and sit joint top of the Premier League with Manchester City and Liverpool.

Mourinho, who worked with Hazard during his time at Chelsea, believes that should Hazard keep performing, Chelsea have a great chance at winning the Premier League.

"The results speak to themselves," said Mourinho.

“Obviously they are not playing in the Champions League.

“That puts them just in the Premier League, and in the Premier League the results speak for themselves.

“Very good results, top of the league and of course lots of good players.

“History says that when Eden Hazard is the best player in the Premier League, Chelsea are the champions.

“It happened with me and Antonio [Conte] and this season – it is still the beginning of course.

“But if he is the best player in the Premier League until now, which he is, Chelsea istop of the league because he is the kind of player who can make a huge difference.”

However, Mourinho has asked for more time before responding to FA's charge of using foul and abusive language after the 3-2 comeback win over Newcastle.

Mourinho is alleged to have sworn at TV Cameras in Portuguese and had until 6pm on Friday to respond

But United have requested for more time to officially respond to the charge and FA chiefs have given him a new deadline of 6pm on Wednesday.
