You failed to acknowledge the fact that most projects in Lagos have now been abandoned as soon as soon as Ambode lost at the primaries.

Most bus stops
The Onikan Stadium
Okesuna Street rehabilitation and drainage
Inner street roads.

All thanks to the fake lion of Ikoyi, who's ready to trade performance for personal interest.

Many people hailing him, will curse him soon, when Jide Sanwoolu retrogress Lagos Back to pre 1999

Oga park well Sanwo-olu will do well in Lagos

Gbam, l wonder why it takes 5 to 10 years to fix a simple road in Nigeria, both APC and PDP should be flogged out of office, dumped into the sea to be eaten by sharks, useless politicians looting the treasury while the masses are dying sad
..

it has taken one whole year to fix festac link bridge after d fire incidence that affected one lane last year. As in its not working yet. people spend 2 hours plus to enter festac after work everyday.

It's sad that foolish Ambode did not consult Chris Nigige to teach him how to cut a godfather to size.

If ordinary Tinubu that is not even as politically sound as Chris Uba could mess up his power of incumbency.
Then he is a fool and a big fool at that.

Seriously, Nigerians are too used to mediocrity that theyre comfortable with it. So pathetic.

That thing is a disaster waiting to happen... it won't survive three years. Just look at the poor quality of that job.
At least Ambode did something

Hitech that built the lekki epe road. Since 2006, they are still building the road, a 49 kms road and they have not gotten to awoyaya. I wonder when the airport road will be completed. Op how was the road a disgrace? All the foreign visitors are not tourists but hustlers coming look for work in the country. He would have finished the badagry road first before touching any major road. Now too many unfinished work causing traffic jams everywhere.

The photos below show the current level of reconstruction and expansion work at the Oshodi-Airport Road, Lagos.

Though a Federal road, the project is being handled by the Lagos State government.

The Oshodi-Airport road is a gateway into the country. It connects Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos to the Oshodi axis of the state.

The road offers first time visitors to Nigeria their earliest impression of the country.

Tragically, for decades, that stretch of road remained a national disgrace.

From one administration to the other, the road was left in an atrocious condition – one that begged for urgent attention in order to salvage the nation’s image.

However, in May 2017, and with facilitation by Vice President Yemi Osibanjo, the federal government finally gave the approval for the Lagos State government to commence a total reconstruction of the road.

In the spirit of the regeneration and urbanization of Lagos state by the Ambode-led administration, work begun on the project in September 2017.

The project is intended to transform the road from 4 lanes to 10 lanes from Oshodi to the International Airport.

The road will also feature an interchange and flyover that would drop commuters to the Local Airport.

Hitech Construction Company Limited is the company handling the project.

Ambode shouldn't be the one constructing that road. It is the work of Fashola to do. Fashola insisted on constructing that road but Ambode didn't allow him. He later approached osinbajo when he was acting president and he approved it.
How can you abandon state roads to work on oshodi/federal road when APC is in power? He can always lobby Fashola to do that.
The stupid man didn't also allow Fashola to work on Abeokuta express road. He is busy constructing rubbish on that road with Lagos money when Fashola can do that.

when last did you pass the road ?

It's not by parking trucks by the roadside for the purpose of uploading pictures.

That site is an abandoned project already unless they have returned back to it in the past weeks

when did you drive on the road to know the quality of Job is bad ?

Take a critically deep look at what is supposed to be a very busy route... see the difference between the road and the normal sand sidewalk. Later they'll come pour asphalt and they think the road is done. Lol...

Ask yourself why the road in developed countries is as thick as it is and way higher than the sidewalk.... it's not for fun, it acts as a additional drainage pattern cos water will quickly drain to the sides and the rate of percolation and damage to the road itself is greatly reduced. Worse still, the sidewalk may be pure mud.

We really do have a long way to go

it's not abandoned... I still passed that road this morning and they were working... They wouldn't want to abandon the road leading to the international airport because it would further damage his political career.

I passed by from same international airport just days before the APC primaries. It obviously looked like the work had been abandoned. The cab man confirmed to me that it had been like that for a while.

So we should believe you that passed there some weeks ago over the one that passed just a day ago?
