What is the difference from a star and a superstar? Youc an post a star or a superstar (post your differences) or simply explain them.

In my opinion, a star is a celebrity that is successful or successfully known. A superstar to me, is a celebrity that is universally known. People that don't even listen to their music or watch their films, or buy their magazines, still know who they are.

Stars: Monica, Alicia Keys, Kelly Rowland, Ashanti, Fantasia, Jennifer Hudson, Omarion, Chris Brown, Beyoncé (She's on her way to being a worldwide legendary superstar) Trey Songz, etc,

Well, I don't know of any superstars that are not American. Maybe in London.

I know the world isn't so American, but these are the people I know. What am I supposed to do, list a name of random made up people I never even heard of? P-Square I know, but I don't think they're superstars just yet, maybe just stars.
