It is always painful when you need to ride through the journey of seeking employment especially when you just lost one. For me, if you are smart enough, people have giving a lot of opinions/advices which I believe are enough to make a decision. Your options are enormous but depend on your field of expertise. If you have a degree in a sellable course then nothing to fear. One month window is enough for use to get yourself together and land a better opportunity. There are organisations looking for experienced online tutors especially if you can teach English online. The home tutor is also a very good idea or you can start talking to people in your network and you will be surprised how easy you can get help. Teaching jobs are always available for experienced and smart people if you still want to continue in that route, else, look for opportunities around your network and you will be surprised.......Best of luck

Every disappointment is a blessing, better paying job is waiting for younoutside , leave that school and start sending out application to other schools, you will get the one that will pay you higher than what you used to collect from this school. Move on

First, go through your appointment letter again and see if he strictly complied with the termination procedure.

If he did, there is nothing you can do about it. Renegotiate the terms, propose working as part-time staff and use the free time to look for a better opportunity.

25k for a degree holder is purely criminal. Where do you reside presently?

Is 25k not above minimum wage?

When one door closes.... U should thank the school For it's opportunity.
If u want to get another teaching job, ask them for a formal recommendation letter.
If not, Just thank them and walk away.

Just as you have the right to resign your employer has the right to terminate your employment anytime even for no cause.

If U don't have savings, then endure for a while say 3 years and make a savings. Then U can rent an open space build Batcher and start up your school. Students will certainly come. Most schools started like this. In ten years time, U will be looking for me to say thank You.

I'm a teacher experienced good with Business Studies, CCA, Civic Education and Commerce. OND holder. My current pay is 12K. i need the job. please

If u are good at what u do, u simple do away with the school and seek another many private schools are always in need of a teacher.... More so before u jump into any just make sure that there terms and condition won't hinder ur dreams.... For example in my place of work we have extra lesson after school hours for so interested parents not forced on any parent the negotiation is strictly urs and it can go as high as 20k a month... Then u can also do home service lesson minimum we charge is 20k per child discount of 25% on one child for 2 children and and 50% discount on one child for 3 children.... It does not mean the rule is fixed cos since the situation of the country changed we have also reduce the pay a bit but it's better than the stipends the school offers but we need the school to show off our Talend and good job. So if u package yourself and your brain well man something like this won't give u a hrt attack cos ur account will be smiling
