I don't get why some people don't put up their contact, either mobile of email address on their profile page. Maybe there is a downside to it, I really don't know yet.

Reason for crying out loud? I have on several occasions which to contact some people, either for help or inquiry on their past experience but there are no fast means to contact them. Example, jephito made a post 2 years ago on (market More) Cucumber Seed Performance and I wished to contact him to ask some questions and possibly gain from his experience, if cucumber is planted directly on the ground or a sort of raised bed in needed. But no means to contact

Is there a reason why people don't put there contact up? Maybe I am missing something. Perhaps I should remove mine also

It's because this is an anonymous forum. People type a lot of trash here which have real world consequences sometimes so they keep their profiles as anonymous as possible.
The people who post contact details here are scammers or individuals ready to sell products or services.
