No. University of Ife was changed to Obafemi Awolowo University (same as several others), but change of name doesn't invalidate the certificates of the former. However, if there arises a need for a transcript or attestation certificate, it bears the new name of the institution(s) as that is the only entity PRESENTLY recognized by law.

did you go to school? I do not think so. simple calculation. buhari 74 year old in 2018. 2018-74=1944. Buhari was born around 1944. buhari finished secondary school in 1961 ( I am not sure he wrote waec at all). How old was buhari when he finished secondary school. 1961-1944=17 years.

How can this chap be saying Buhari was 7 when he sat for WAEC exams?For your information, it is a widely known fact online that Buhari was born in 1942, of which WAEC was established in 1961 , which happens to be exactly 19 years after the birth of Buhari ! This means that Buhari was in his teens when WAEC came into existence and not the other way around !

on a serious note I doubt any one writing waec in 1961 would be around 17 yrs of age. Those days students were much older in their respective classes when compared to what to is obtainable now
