The Deputy Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu, has resigned, Daily Trust reports.

Ahmed is the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state. He is expected to contest against his former boss Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal who is the likely flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the poll.

A source close to Tambuwal said that the deputy governor resigned voluntarily and “we will not hesitate to accept his resignation.”

Tambuwal's popularity is deeply rooted in Sokoto, so for Ahmed to usurp him from that office will take the intervention of the Lifeless one through massive rigging, as seen in Ekiti and Osun

What's really happening in southern Nigeria here.

Just yesterday, we all read a report on front how a particular hoodlums broke into inec office and made away with over 2000 voters card. Same yesterday, a supposed inec officiall called my friend on phone telling him how he(that my friend) had collected his PVC, when he had not collected it yet. He even planned to go there this very Thursday.

Makes me wonder, if this also is the case in northern side or its just a new system of reducing votes.

APC it's not by force to serve Nigerians, if they reject you, go your way Na. Or don't you know what'S meant by self worth?
