Did you know that your US visa can take you into many other countries? I shared this info yesterday and people were shocked. If you have a US visa, why not use it to full capacity?

These are lists of countries you can visit with a US, UK or Canadian visa.

1. MEXICO

My dear friends, you can enjoy delicious margaritas, tacos (ooh yum), pristine resorts, bring telenovelas to life and Mexican festival fantasies for up to 180 days as long as you have a valid multiple entry visa into the US.

Visas Allowed: US visa.

2. COSTA RICA

This country is a paradise for anyone who loves nature and adrenaline. From tropical rainforests to white-water rafting to high wire activities and some of the most refreshing resorts tucked in nature, Costa Rica is a country worth going to.

Visas Allowed: US and Canadian visas.

3. TURKEY

Thinking of thermal springs in Pamukkale or ancient Mediterranean cultures, you just might want to try Turkey. With good flight routes, you can get your visa on arrival if you have certain visas on your passport.

Visas Allowed: US, UK, Schengen and Irish visas.

4. BELIZE

I bet you don't think of Belize when you long for eye-popping carnivals and bright blue waters. Now you should because with certain visas on your passport, you can tick off bucket list items in Belize.

5. ALBANIA

What's in Albania, you may ask? How about some of the most beautiful natural landscapes and architecture from throwback times. And the food...we can't get enough of the stories.

10. ALL US TERRITORIES

Did you know that a US territory is pretty much a part of the country, no matter how far away it is? You can use your US visa to enter:
- American Samoa
- Guam
- Northern Mariana Islands
- Puerto Rico
- U.S. Virgin Islands
- Minor Outlying Islands

11. ALL UK TERRITORIES

Again, all UK territories count as part of the UK for all visa intents and purposes. You can use your UK visa to enter:

- Bermuda
- British Antarctic Territory
- British Indian Ocean Territory
- The British Virgin Islands
- Cayman Islands
- Falkland Islands
- Gibraltar
- Montserrat
- Pitcairn Islands
- Saint Helena, Ascension & Tristan da Cunha
- South Georgia & the South Sandwich Islands
- Sovereign Base Areas of Akrotiri and Dhekelia
- Turks & Caicos Islands
- Guernsey
- Isle of Man
- Jersey

13. CRUISE DESTINATIONS

It is almost like countries relax their rules once you are on a cruise. If you have a US visa, you can either visit these countries with no additional visa or by getting a visa as part of your cruise package.

* CUBA
* JAMAICA
* BAHAMAS

14. RESTRICTED COUNTRIES

Some countries will allow you to visit the country, while you are in transit to/from the US. E.g. South Korea.

Note
Most of the countries above will require that you visit the country which issued the visa first, before visiting them. Also, of course, the visa has to ALWAYS be valid. Some countries will require that it be valid for another 6 months, minimum.

Also, that's why the default answer to a Nigerian seeking those visas is No, unless you can prove otherwise.
Nigerians who abused visas have messed up things for fellow Nigerians. Even poorer African countries than Nigeria don't get bad treatments in visa applications or during travels.

I am surprised? No. Because a typical Nigerian is selfish and only cares about himself. If others have to suffer for his actions (of escaping using visit visas), so be it, provided he has "successfully escaped". That's why it's now almost impossible to get US or Canada visa as a Nigerian irrespective of your travel history.

My country is messed up. Imagine what American passport can do if this is what their visa can
