Bafana Bafana coach, Stuart Baxter has revealed that his team must stifle the Super Eagles from getting into their rhythm if they are to get a win in Saturday’s crunch 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at the FNB Stadium Johannesburg, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.


Baxter has recorded two wins in two games against Nigeria while in charge of the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Baxter was in charge when South Africa defeated Nigeria in the Mandela Challenge in 2004 and in a matchday-1 fixture of 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Uyo in June 2017.


He hinted that he had an idea of his starting line-up but will be making one or two changes from the team that drew goalless against Seychelles in Victoria on matchday-4.

“I have an idea of what I need to do although there might be one or two changes and I also need to fine-tune a few areas ahead of Saturday’s game,” Baxter was quoted on safa.net.
