Can Manchester United bounce back from City disgrace ?

The last time Manchester United played in the Premier League, it was against rivals Manchester City and it definitely didn’t end on a good note for the Red side of Manchester who were literally schooled at the Etihad in a fixture which ended 3-1.

Manchester United stats after 12 matches in the Premier League is nothing other than bemusing. The red devils have lost 4 times, drawn twice and have only seen 6 wins. United have scored 20 times while also conceeding 21, meaning Jose Mourinho team are at a negative in goal difference.

Hopefully, the international break has a good effect on the United team who face 16th placed Crystal palace at old Trafford on Nov 24th.

Man Utd are in a race to finish in the first four as the red devils currently trail table leaders Man City by 12 points in just 12 games. Jose would be hoping Anthony Martial remains in red hot form as they continue their tedious journey as predicted by the Portuguese months ago.

Can Watford inflict first league loss on Liverpool ?

Liverpool are one of the only three sides to remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season, with 3 draws and 9 wins. The Merseyside reds are only short of first place by two points and would be looking to continue keeping tabs on league leaders Man City.

Despite Jurgen Klopp’s impressive start of the new season, the German has had a cause for concern as Liverpool had looked a little less convincing in attack depsite beating Fulhman by two goals in their last Premier League fixture.

Watford welcome Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side in Premier League Matchday 13 as the hornets look to return to winning ways after a loss to Newcastle and then a draw against Southampton in Gameweek 12.

Watford sit 7th on the league table equal on points with under performing Manchester United but with a better goal difference of three.

The black and gold outfits have already made a major statement this season, when they came from behind to beat Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham Hotspur and would now have a chance to better the records should they inflict on Liverpool their first loss of the Premier League.

Who could stop Manchester City taking all three

It’s Former meets Present, when Manchester City go head to head with previous manager Manuel Pellegrini and his Westham side in the weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini had it rough at the start of the season, going several games without a single point with the manager coming under pressure. Westham has however found little consistency with 3 wins, 3 draws, 6 defeats and currently sitting 13th place on the table.

Westham may have found consistency, but what good will it do when the hammers face the citizens in the weekend.

Manchester City are currently leading the premier league table on 32 points. Two better than second placed Liverpool and are now looking untouchable in the Premier having already battered Jose Mourinho’s United last time.

Beating Manchester city would most definitely rewrite the Premier League season, but the hammers are at a total disadvantage when they welcome the reigning Premier League champions.

Will Tottenham be the first, or just of many to try when they face Chelsea

Maurizio Sarri has definitely added to his Fame as Chelsea has so far seen a remarkable change in the Premier League since he was signed in the summer.

Since joining the Premier League, Maurizio Sarri has never known the feeling of losing at any time. Only coming closest when Anthony Martial nearly won it for Man United.

Chelsea have so far progressed under the famous Sarri-ball technique, while Tottenham Hotspur have only continued to survive under Pochettino after a non existent summer transfer.

Despite struggling to maintain fitness and results, Tottenham are not far behind as they trail the London blues by only a single point on 27 and 28 respectively. Meaning a win for the white Lily’s would not only tear down the walls built by Sarri but also over take the London blues in the Premier League table.

Chelsea however have proved they are to be feared, after sending Liverpool packing in the league cup and almost coming close to beating the Merseyside reds again in the Premier League.

The international break seems to have come at the right time for the Argentine who has only seen several of his key players return from injury and probably 100 percent ready to face Chelsea in the weekend.

AFC Bournemouth look to challenge Unai Emery’s Arsenal

AFCBournemouth look to test the resilience of Unai Emery’s Arsenal, when they welcome the north london club in matchday 13.

Arsenal are currently 5th on the League table with Bournemouth not far behind on 6th and trailing by four points. Despite a win not enough to guarantee 4th for the hosts, Unai Emery should be expecting a huge challenge when they face their weekend opponents.

Bournemouth aren’t Liverpool or city, but the hosts have done enough to earn themselves a place in the top 6 on the Premier League table with 6 wins, 2 draws and 4 losses as compared to their opponents who have seen 7 wins, 3 draws and 2 defeats.

However, in the past two games, both clubs have been off the play with Arsenal recording two draws and Bournemouth two defeats. Both clubs will be looking to return to winning ways when they face each other in the Premier League’s weekend fixture.
